Acupressure Massage

Acupressure is a Chinese massage technique which uses moderate to firm pressure on various points on meridians that course throughout the body. Releasing blockages on the points opens the meridians and allows energy to flow, bringing the body into balance and harmony.

Facial Massage

In acupressure, pressure is applied to points on the face in order to stimulate or unblock the flow of vital energy in specific meridians. And provide appropriate facial mask based on the constitution of individual patient.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy, or essential oils therapy, is using a plant’s aroma-producing oils (essential oils) to treat disease. Essential oils are taken from a plant’s flowers, leaves, stalks, bark, rind, or roots. The oils are mixed with another substance (such as oil, alcohol, or lotion) and then put on the skin, sprayed in the air, or inhaled. You can also massage the oils into the skin or pour them into bath water. Aromatherapy, as used today originated in Europe and has been practiced there since the early 1900s.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is an ancient Chinese method of causing local congestion. A partial vacuum is created in cups placed on the skin either by means of heat or suction. This draws up the underlying tissues. When the cup is left in place on the skin for a few minutes, blood stasis is formed and localized healing takes place. Cupping therapy has been further developed as a means to open the ‘Meridians’ of the body. There are five meridians on the back that, when opened, allow invigorating energy to travel the whole length of the body. It has been found that cupping is probably the best way of opening those meridians.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a form of fire heat treatment that stimulates specific acupuncture points of the body. The term is derived form the Japanese “mogusa” meaning herb (mugwort) and the Latin “exustio” meaning burning.

Herbal Medicine

Acupuncture treatments are enhanced with the combination of Chinese herbs. A formula may be prescribed to prolong the effectiveness of acupuncture and the time in between each treatment. Like acupuncture, herbal formulas treat a wide variety of symptoms, while stimulating the body’s natural healing process. Herbs can be use to strengthen a weak immune system, to prevent illness, and alleviate pain. Herbal formulas can also treat cold and flu symptoms, allergies, arthritis, and are excellent for treating a variety of digestive issues.
